From Chef Michael Mina, Petit Margeaux presents a classic, French patisserie that melds Parisian café culture and Midwestern hospitality, right in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Located on the first floor of The Waldorf Astoria Chicago, Petit Margeaux will offer a charming gathering place for the neighborhood and a destination for Francophiles, as well as pastry and coffee aficionados.
Transporting guests to a café along the Champs-Elysees, Petit Margeaux is a café and patisserie serving a savory menu, alongside decadent pastries and bakery items, all day.
A Savory Menu offered all day highlights tartines, sandwiches, salads and a quiche of the day. Not to be missed the Parisian ham Tartine with gruyère and black pepper béchamel, the French Dip Sandwich with slow-roasted prime rib, au jus and a horseradish aïoli and the Beet Salad with lolla rossa lettuce, toasted pistachio, and a lemon-lavender vinaigrette.
Decadent sweet treats from the patisserie will include French macarons, palmiers and madelines, croissants and scones, muffins and other assorted pastries and cookies.
Select coffee blends and espresso drinks – served hot or cold – will be available exclusively from LAMILL Coffee, including a signature MINA Blend with notes of chocolate and toffee. An impressive selection of teas from black and green to herbal, white and milk teas, as well as Valrhona milks will be served. Don’t miss Nitro Cold Brew LAMILL Coffee, which will be available on tap.
In addition, beer and wine by the glass will round out the beverage program at Petit Margeaux.
